SSE Party Rentals Website

SSE Party Rentals is a company specializing in the rental of tents, tables, chairs and a variety of other equipment for events ranging from weddings, to corporate events, to backyard bbq's. They service Philadelphia, southern New Jersey and surrounding areas.

This website was developed using MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS, and NodeJS. The site uses a client facing website with an admin subdomain. The customer website queries a backend API to retrieve all the available products and display them in the appropriate location. Product categories are stored in the database, and the customer facing website is dynamically updated to display the categories in the database. When the user selects a category, all of the producst matching the category are retrieved from the database using a backend API, and the appropriate product page is displayed. The admin sub-domain is still currently under development, but will give the owners a portal that can be used to add, modify, and delete items from the database. Those changes will be immediately reflected on the customer facing website. The admin sub-domain will also provide the owners with the ability to track inventory, generate reports, send invoices to customers, and much more.

The Areas Served page utilizes a fully functional Google Map with the ability to search for any address. The colored zones were created by creating my own Google Fusion Table utilizing county boundry lines and associating a hexidecimal color value for the areas. The Google Fusion Table is imported as a layer on top of the Google Map in order for the customer to better visualize the areas served by SSE Party Rentals.

The website was deployed using AWS.

New development on this website has been temporarily suspended as transition the tech stack from using AngularJS to using Angular 4+.
